As with every new David Charles collection, our visionary design team put their heart and soul into taking the time to craft individual dresses for your little princesses to enjoy, this season and the next.
Our design process is carefully planned out in advance of each style season, and this is so the finished collection can reflect our signature, iconic British heritage with a subtle European flair. By giving our individual children’s designer dresses the attention and craftsmanship they deserve, the result ensures that your cherub has an array of polished outfits to choose from whenever she wants to dress up for her favourite special occasions.
Take our refreshing spring/summer 2013 children’s wear range for instance. In this series of luxurious imagery we were proud to put on our artistic thinking caps while pooling the most talented photographers together to deliver a seamlessly stylish S/S13 photoshoot.
What we got was two very different looks, both equally inspirational for introducing springtime evening wear with plenty of David Charles sophistication, naturally. The first ensemble pictured above represents an elegant princess look with its contemporary ivory colourway and rich layered fabrics. This party gown is a perfect match for wedding celebrations and parties, and the pretty floral detailing adds a touch of glamour to the bodice. We have a lifelong appreciation for textures, especially when crafting single colour dresses. Our design team like to create dresses that evoke a sense of indulgence from the moment your girl tries them on.
You’ll notice another colourful dress in the photoshoot, which is a soft peach coloured dress. This delicious gown is picture-perfect for wearing to patio parties, outdoor festivals and prom dates.
